You Are Loved

Ephesians 1:19 “19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.”

God loves you! He has given you everything you need to make it.  He has released the “exceeding greatness of His power” to you if you believe.  The question is do you believe?  Do you believe that He loves you?  Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Do you believe He has good plans for you?

Jeremiah 29:11 “11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

The truth is that God wants you to do well and succeed. He has good plans for you.  In fact, He has given you what you need to succeed. He just wants you to trust Him, follow Him and believe in Him.  As followers of Jesus we need to be reminded that He is for us and not against us.  That each day we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.  Many times, the hardest thing for us is to just rest in His grace and mercy and be what we are suppose to be.  Believers in Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, help me to walk out my day knowing that You are in control of my life and desire good things for me.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

No Condemnation

“Mr. Routon!!” said my fourth-grade teacher Mrs. Parks as she headed my way with a wooden paddle.

The class had been instructed by Mrs. Parks to go back to the table and pick out a booklet for reading.  There was a strict “no talking” policy while we were back at the table.  As the group of 20 children milled around the table a boy next to me asked me to pass him the booklet he desired and I did.  Mrs. Parks determined that I was the one who had spoken and was serving as the judge, jury and executioner in my case!  Whap!  I was startled by the swat with the board. I was embarrassed and humiliated in front of the whole class and I was a new student to the school. We changed classes and one of the students told our homeroom teacher about the incident.  Mrs. Norrell quietly left our room and went next door to Mrs. Parks classroom.  A few minutes later both teachers entered our class room and Mrs. Parks commenced to give me a very weak apology and left.  After she left Mrs. Norrell stood and told the class that no one should be punished without a thorough investigation and understanding of what really happened.  She apologized to me and assured me that it wouldn’t happen again.

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

As a believer in Jesus Christ, you are the target of the enemy’s accusations, attacks and condemnation.  He will throw up all of your failures and mistakes with the hopes of making you give up on your walk of righteousness.  Jesus, however knows just what to do with the enemy and his accusations.

Colossians 2:14-15

14 having wiped out the [a]handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

His victory over your enemy allows you to live with no condemnation.  His victory is your victory.  You and I are no longer bound by the accusations of failure or forfeiture of our future.  In Christ all things are made new!!!

PRAYER:  Heavenly Father, thank You for your mercy and grace.  Thank you that my sins are forgiven and I have a bright hope filled future.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
